Hey.. likely this is not the best place to post this, but i have terrible allergies and am desperate to find the best air purifyer. Does anyone own an olreck? Costco.ca is selling them cheaper then the olreckcanada.com website and it is looking tempting.. but 400$ is a lot to spend on someting that doesn't work? ANyone have an opinion?

If you look it up, it 'sort of works' but it doesn't work half as well as any real air purifier (one with filters).
In other words, it's better than nothing, but 75% of the air purifiers on the market outperform it.

Personally I'd rather spend $100-200 on a purifier, then save the remaining $200 for filters, and get much cleaner air.
