    I just hear from one of my friend telling me that there is a bestbuy is currently selling MACBOOK AIR 13" for $599.99 ONLY ???!! anyone knows?

    They are, but it's only at one store in Brossard, Quebec as part of an Opening Day Sale. The model in question is a previous generation C2D with a 256gb SSD.

    However, judging from the thread at another forum we aren't allowed to mention, the deal is probably dead but it might be worth a shot if you live nearby and really want a MBA.
