My Half-Price Challenge

Today I challenged myself to achieve half price or better on my shopping: and succeeded on all but two items. It was a short list of shopping since we already stocked up on veggies, milk and fruit on Saturday!

With a couple of BOGOs in hand and a list of sale prices, I hit up the Independent and SDM. Here are my breakdowns (I can't scan the receipts because they're still in the car while DH is running some of his own errands):

SDM:
2x Thinsations (1.99-$.50 mail coupon; normally 3.99) 2.98

Except for the chicken and the bread, I hit my mark on half price shopping! And those were both such good coupons for staples (DH and DD love whole wheat Wonder Bread!) that I felt they were still a great deal.

I added more to my stockpile, got a jump start on Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers as well as buying some of the makings for lunch and dinner. Half-price shopping was fun!

Great Job!! I didn't see the dove deo on sale at my SDM, but I picked up body wash for 99 cents, they had the 2.00 off sticker coupon on the bottle and was already on sale for 2.99!!
