There's a question that I always wanted to ask each time I come to this Freebies and Samples section and now I decided to start off this thread. So every time I see people posting a new freebies or samples website I always wonder if it's a reliable website and if their products will come or not (other than those brands we know and after looking at the "beware freebies that never come" - Actually, how many do look at this thread?). Thus, is there a way to check whether the website is suspicious or not before submitting our information. Any tips?

I remember someone said that we have to look at the administrator of the website but not too sure how and where. I myself, I will tend to only sign up for website with known brands and as for other, I will try to stay away. When going to a website that we don't know, I think we should first look up at the contact us to see if the address seems right and look at when was the site last updated. Other than that, not sure what to do.

I would like to hear your experience (if you sign up and realize that it will never come, will you be more careful next time for other websites or be the kind of people that just sign up first everywhere and see later on).
