New wording on Old El Paso box coupons??

Hi everyone,
Sorry if this is in the wrong area but, yesterday I picked up a few Old El Paso kits that were on sale at RCSS. Some boxes have the save $4 on ground beef coupons and some still have the free shredded cheese coupons. So when I got home and looked at the coupons, they say "with purchase of an old el Paso kit."
Now am I crazy, or have they changed the wording? Does anyone have any of the older cheese or salsa coupons that could check the working. I redeemed one of the older cheese coupons just last week without buying a taco kit with it.

Any thoughts??

They (and free Salsa offer) have always been WUB El Paso Kit - it was a mistake when store took your coup and u didn't buy kit.

Oh wow, I've redeemed many of the free salsa and cheese coupons over the past months without buying a kit! I feel bad now!

Ok but the funny thing is, you know how the cheese is the smaller bag free or $6 off the larger bag? Well the last time I bought the larger bag, the cashier read it closly enought to catch that I was get $6 off and not the whole bag free. So how'd he miss the WUB part ??

Some cashiers never seem to read the fine print while others go through all the words on the coupon and flip the darn hing over a hundred times while giving you the stink eye like the coupon isn't real. I'm not sure which I prefer.

I've had to correct cashiers a time or two. The pepsi B2G1 for the 6 packs that recently expired? I had 6 of them and used 2 coupons. The cashier scanned 2 and then input my coupons and asked if I had free coupons for the other 4, I explained to her that I had to purchase the other 4 to ge the first 2 free ones. Another time a cashier thought I could use 1x.50 off coupon for 6 of the same product vs needing 6x.50 , I also corrected her, I don't want to get anyone in crap.

Hopefully the cashiers who took your coupons didn't ge in trouble for not reading the coupon over.

Yes, it has always been WUB, the same as the Hamburger Helper ones. But I find that lately the kits have been cheaper than the shells. I used to only buy shells (before there were coupons on the box) because I prefer the seasoning I buy in Mexico. But now I am buying kits, kits, kits! I give the seasoning to a good friend!
