I've recently started selling jewellry as an independent stylist as a sort of part-time job, and am wondering where I can advertise. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get new clients? I'm planning to talk to my hairstylist to see if she'll pass along the message but I could use some help coming up with other ideas!
Thanks in advance!!!

All the Christmas/seasonal craft & artisan fairs will be looking for vendors in the next few weeks - try to find out when&where they are to get a table. When you go to them, and bring little flyers that people can take home with them. Even if you're just going to browse for yourself, bringing some flyers might not hurt... you never know
I also know some SC'ers have ebay stores to get their products noticed. I don't know if you're an ebay-er or not, but that might work as well...

Thanks for all the suggestions! I've added a facebook page (now I just have to get people to 'like' it! That's a whole other issue. haha ) Craft fair is a good idea too.
I just moved into a new area so I think some door-to-door catalogue delivering is in order!Last edited by michelledm; Fri, Oct 14th, 2011 at 09:59 AM.

Well, they're not my creations. I'm an independent stylist for a jewellery company, but here's my facebook page anyways. Have a look and spread the word!!! Thanks so much!

Oh and a great way to get lots of attention is to have a contest with first prize being a gift card or even a precentage off like 50% of an item up to a certian amount and second prize 25% and third being 10% something that will grab peoples attention.

Facebook Page 100% - if you do a giveaway on your Facebook page (tell all the coupon/freebie sites) then you'll get a ton of traffic.
That way you may be giving away a couple pieces of jewelry, but you'll gain a bunch of Facebook followers and people will share it with their friends.
Good luck!
