There is a fantastic toy warehouse sale going on at a place called Samko and Miko warehouse. I went on the weekend and bought what would have been $300 on toys, and only spent $96 !!!!

Here's the website to check out the locations. Good for GTA area, and Ottawa!

There are a lot of great baby items as well. I got a Fisherprice vibrating baby seat for $39, and I think I may go back for the organics playpen/changer/bassinet combo for only $100.

@Sherrybobins I got a BUNCH of toys and books. They have EVERYTHING you can pretty well think of... for example, I got the fisher price little peoples castle playset for $15. in the store it retails for close to $30.

You can even get rapping paper for xmas. anywhere from $0.50-$1.50!

I got a Narnia companion book, fully illustrated, pop-up hardcover for $2.00

@mckbutterfly you can get all kinds of stuff. Toys, swings, tents, playsets, strollers, baby stuff, SOME scrapbooking stuff, wrapping paper, books.... it's like a huge toys r us, but without that nasty retail pricetag

Do they have good toys and prices this year? I've been going every year for the last 7 years, but continuously being disappointed with both the toys and prices. The prices are not great for toys that are 2-5 years old. For example, last year, I went and saw a $17.50 Barbie that I had bought for a client's daughter two years earlier from Walmart for $10. The Camp Rock board game that kellyschool1 bought, I got for my in 2008 for $5 from Zellers. I guess my point is that I find the toys overpriced, and since they're old, children already typically have them. Honestly, I seem to fair better at WM and TRU when they have sales.

@ChristieJ to be honest, you'd have to take a look for yourself. I was impressed with their selection and prices, but you may not be. *shrugs*

I have to agree - it's not worth the drive for me, I can do much better watching for the deals at TRU/walmart/zellers. Plus then I have the security of being able to return if needed.

i was wondering if it is really worth it vs. sales around here. My mom has been talking about this place for a couple years but i always really wondered if it was actually worth the drive as i'm about 2 hours from toronto

1 Fashion Angel Dream Wedding sketch book 100 Stencils $3 http://www.amazon.com/Fashion-Angels...0471234&sr=1-3
Cute diary with a lock $1 (dogs on it)

We are going back this month. Buying 40 of the .35c coloring books for class xmas gifts and some more stuff for our kids - mainly craft stuff and books. Also going to look for loot bag items for my dd upcoming party in March. Was thinking about the Dog Sketch books and diary. If we go with that we just won't give my dd them for xmas.

    Cost for everything was $92
