50 cent granola thins & cookies? Yes!

Sometimes you just need a bit of junk food to make yourself feel better. Other than chocolate bars, I wanted something else sugary. When I first walked into Sobeys, there were containers of School Bus Cookies with coloured sugar on them. They were $3.99 a container, marked down to 50 cents! I picked up 4 containers because the expiry wasn't until Dec. 20th! I'll be set for a few months now

Then, when I looked at the back row of the store (by the cartons of juice), there was a whole cart full of Nature Valley Granola Thins (both chocolate & pb) on clearance 2/$3 (usually up to $3.49 a box which is outrageous!). Using three $1 off coupons from save.ca, I got three boxes of chocolate granola thins for 50 cents! And using three 50 cent coupons from the General Mills Flip Flops and T-Shirts, I got three pb granola thins for $1 a box. They must be discontinuing these at Sobeys because I saw the same ones at Walmart for $2.98 per box.

I love Sobeys clearance carts at the back of their store. I got a few really cute ice cream bowls (shaped as an waffle cones) for 75 cents each. I got 4 of them, one of every colour (brown, green, blue and pink)
