I bought a Ford Edge 3 weeks ago. finally giving up on the 1995 Aerostar.
Scrap metal dealers were starting to leave their business cards on the Aerostar, ha ha, and i did get 2300 $ for the recycle thing...
I have friends who also have the same kind of vehicle, and who did a lot of research on the safety and accident statistics. I also test drove a GMC Acadia, which was much more than i needed and also cost 50 % more...

Meanwhile, my husband had a stroke a month ago, and is now in what they call long term rehabiltation. I go by twice a day, usually, to help nag him back to recovery. A few months ago, he had done a lot of the research on new cars, but no test driving, just passengering.
