Went in to buy the Baby Mum Mum (baby cookies) this week which were advertised 3 for $5.99. I picked 2 original and 1 banana. When I got to my car I saw they had charged me $2.50, $2.50 and $3.49 for them!!!!!!
I went back in and the cashier asked me if I wanted to put it back on debit then she would charge me the correct price. I said "Um... you guys have the Scanning Code of Practice?...." To make a long story shorter.... the supervirsor and manager both came and said that the banana was NOT part of the promotion. They just adjusted the price and let me purchase the banana at sale price.... wouldn't adhere to the Scanning Code of Practice.... SO STUPID............but get this.................
I went back in yesterday... and sure enough the banana cookies have a sale ticket for the 3 for $5.99!!!! UUUURRRRRR!!!

I would go back....and ask to speak to the manager or call CS.

I would of gone back and bought 3, and then told them I wanted 1 @scop and take the price ticket to them and prove it. If they didnt adhere to it go to head office.

I don't think Zellers (with the exception of the stores in Quebec) adheres to SCOP. If they did, I don't know how many free stuff I would have gotten from them over the years. Their system is notorious for always scanning things at the wrong price. Like Poirot said though, call the SCOP toll free number to double check.

If they fuss like that I usually walk them back to the shelf and show them, it is also their responsibility to label different scents/flavours as different prices clearly if they are so people do not just think they are all the same
