Yes we did and I was very proud of her, but as her teacher pointed out, my munchkin still looks pale, so I brought her home.


BTW Koala, she called me to remind me of the award ceremony, and to let me know that our school district is proposing to change the boundry for our school, so we may have to switch schools next year

Holy cow man.... that REALLY sucks! Is there a way to bypass that at least until she's out of the school?

Yes, she could be grandfathered in, but none of the kids out here that are all on the bus route, will be able to be bussed to our school next year. This would be just fine by me as I drive her daily anyway, but she has a baby sister that goes to school in 2009, and they won't guarantee placement of her, especially if the school is capped, which looks like it may be next year.

I don't want my girls going to different grade schools, and the school needs my answer by March 14th.
So I feel like I am caught between a rock and a hard spot.

I also do not want to wait until my oldest is in Grade 3 on whether or not the school will accept my youngest in kindergarten.

I hate this because I bounced to many grade schools as a kid and I swore that my kids would only go to one.
Looks like I am SOL

If she has to switch schools, the younger the better don't you think, or do you think that I should just keep her there and cross that bridge in 2009?
