$2.50 WUB any 2 Brands: Bounty, Charmin or Puffs

I finally received my P&G coupons and I have a question about the "Save $2.50 when you buy any two brands: Bounty, Charmin or Puffs":

Can I use the coupon when purchasing two Puffs products or does it have to be (1) Puffs + (1) Bounty or (1) Charmin?

Since the coupon doesn't specify two different brands I was thinking I could get (2) Puffs but the wording is still has me a bit confused.

I have always assumed it was if you bought any two of the participating brands. Not two different ones. I could be wrong though!!

I did use these coupons on the bounty napkins that are on sale at WM right now though...

Thanks for replying, shmeelady. We both interpreted the coupon the same way. It's my overthinking things that has me worried...

The wording that is confusing is the "brand" part. I don't want to check out with 2 Puffs products then by denied by the cashier who points out I actually only have one "brand" of Puffs. If only the coupon read "$2.50 when you buy any two products: Bounty, Charmin, or Puffs.

I'm thinking it's any two brands as well (so two of the same would be applicable), because:

1) In the same Brandsaver issue, they have a coupon for Head & Shoulders that says save WUB shampoo AND conditioner.
2) In the booklet I got in the toilet paper purchase, they have a coupon that says save "when you buy any TWO products" of Charmin, Bounty, Puffs. There is a separate coupon to save when you buy any one of Charmin, Bounty, AND Puffs.

They know how to word it to make it clear when they want you to buy different brands, issued at the same time as this one. Because they didn't specify, I can only assume it doesn't matter to them.

I buy any 2 brands, not different brands. My fav is to buy the Charmin Toilet Seat Covers for $1.00 x 2 = .50 overage.

I read it as "buy two of any of these brands".

I used this coupon to buy a single box of puffs (1.97) and Toilet seat cover (1.00).
Basically paid .50 for both. Didn't have a problem either.
