thats why i am asking the question about reciepts(wifes is same)... how hard is it for someone to manually guess a number between 001 and 999, even easier for a hacker with a bot that automatically enters the info till it signs in especially when the person knows postal code or etc.
SDM in my opinion has very week securityLast edited by dariusz8; Wed, Dec 7th, 2011 at 03:42 PM.

Maybe I've seen too many TV crime shows .... but it's probably not that difficult to get your hands on some kind of decoder program..... and if you write code for work or hobby....geesh
Many times I wish we were back in the days of Little House on the Prairie :S

Don't a lot of them start with 88- 76- or 72- so it would not be that hard to make a few educated guesses with that receipt.

People can hack into a a gov't or banks website.
And we see how crappy shoppers security is.

Just guessing you might be able see your card number from the screen on the register.I haven't really tried to look for it.I can definitely see how many points I have on the register screen after my card is scanned.
