    Thanks,
Windmobile.ca ... They are now in Calgary & Edmonton as well .

Their $ 45 plan is now only $ 25 / month for 1 yr . After 1 yr you can drop down to the $ 35 or $ 15 plan if you want .

No Contract .. No Gimmicks ..

    Their other promotions are :

    1. $ 150 credit for the first 12 months on Always Shout or Always Talk plan.

    2. 50 % OFF any plan for the first 6 months .

We have three phones and plans with Rogers and have had for years. I CANNOT recommend them. Am currently trying to switch to blackberries and I have had the run around for over a month. Still no blackberries.

They are known as ROBBERS for a reason

I wish the new guys Wind Mobile , Public Mobile & Mobilicity teach the 3 old guys Robbers , Bell & Telus a lesson for treating consumers like us like crap for years

The Source has just introduced something new... no contract... seemed good when they told me about it... most were free phones.. just pay the monthly bill (and can cancel at anytime)... and they were good rates/deals... but maybe a lot like KooDoo?

I use Speakout Wireless through 7-11 Convenience Store.

    http://speakout7eleven.ca/

If you wait for the promotions, you can usually get a cell phone for free when you
purchase air time. I got my phone free with $100 air time card. The time is good for 365 days too which is fabulous. I don't use my cell phone alot so this is more for an emergency or rarely use phone service.

There is a thread somewhere in smartcanucks about Speak Out from 7/11 and other people have lots of other good ideas in that thread too.

I am the one who posted the speakout phone. They are great if you are looking for a emergency phone. But if you actually someone who called more than like 100 min a month, it's probably better off to look for a plan. I had my speakout activated like in Aug with $100 credit. I still have over $130 credit in my account (with all the referral code bonus) now and I don't have to worry about top up until next Aug. BTW, usually the next wave of good promotion will be around Christmas.
