Me too. I had an ACL reconstruction on the 6th and for some stupid reason, I thought I would be up and moving by now and be able to finish shopping. Nothing is wrapped. To make matters worse, my H thought he started holidays tomorrow and I thought I would have some help. He doesn't start them until the 3rd!
ARGH!

Well, We`ve had illness here, too - so my purchasing little bits of things throughout the year is turning out to be a blessing. Other than that I think Gift Cards are going to be the order of the day.
I`m watching a Rita McNeal Special - that always seems like Christmas -even though it`s not a Christmas show.
She and Men of the Deeps - bring on the tissues! - can`t wrap with a dog and a laptop on my lap! LOL!

We are almost all ready here... this year I have been picking up little things here and there. Although it never seems done!

Ouch. About the surgery.
Hope your recovery is going o.k.
I think that people around you will forgive you if things aren't wrapped. What about gift bags from the dollar store and covering with tissue paper from the dollar store?
Unless it's a car, and then, all you need is a bow.

Neither one of us really have any Christmas "spirit" this year... My wife is not home for the first time, Chris is still recovering from his accident, I am working and spending time at the home.... Christmas???? Augh...
We don't even have a tree up... our tree is huge and a back breaker to carry up the stairs and the top of it broke last year.... I might buy one when I goto the states this week. Chris said he would decorate it himself if I do...
Add to that, the fact that i have to work Christmas Day... we are having our family here on Christmas Eve and cooking the turkey and all the trimmings then... It just isn't the same this year, it just seems so screwed up, it's enough to depress both of us but we try not to.Is it baseball season yet?

Thinking the same way the other day. Now, I'm done with the gifts for my family and some closest friends I bought yesterday, I still have to wrap them though. Still thinking foods to prepare.
You have to make a list first. Make a list of all the people that you are going to be giving gifts to and then think of possible gifts that you think they will like.

I am happy to say I finished my shopping in November! I don't know, this year I have been on the ball. Usually I will start shopping a few days before Christmas but I didn't want that hassle again this year. I also did some online shopping to avoid crowds and my last parcel arrived today. I'll do all the wrapping Christmas Eve though, I actually like doing that with my sister
