Went out to Zellers this morning to buy the 2 LEGO sets for $50 off. Arrived at 7:30 and was the first one there, as time passed more and more people came. Picked up both the LEGO City Corner and Blizzard's Peak for only $29.99 each. Regular price is $79.99 each. These were gone within a minute of opening. Some lady grabbed 5 of each, and was really sad to see how greedy some people are. Since I had 2 of each set, I gave them to the parents who didn't have a chance to get one, they were really happy. Then I used the additional 15% off coupon along with the free $10 gift card one. At firs the cashier said I was only allowed to use one coupon, but then I told her about the Facebook comment a Zellers employee made about being able to combine both offers. She rang both in without any problems, she even let me use the gc on the same purchase. So total with taxes was $47.10! I saved $112.88! Very happy with this purchase, thank you Smart Canucks for providing me with the coupons! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I never understand this. How do you possibly know 6 kids to give this to? And if you've got a lot of grandkids, I doubt they'd appreciate all having the same gifts

Perhaps they want to resell? Cause retired LEGO goes for a lot of money in the future.

Ah that makes sense. I just wish I could find the Lego Taj Mahal that I saw once in Chicago years ago but didn't have luggage room for. Haven't seen it since

It has been discontinued for quite some time now. If you have any other LEGO questions, please let me know, I am happy to help.

Personally I don't think buying multiples is being greedy

I myself bought one - but if I had 6 kids to gift I would not think twice about picking up more. I don't believe there was a limit to how many you can purchase

    Congrats on your brag

    Hmmm.
    Possibilities for 6 sets:
    - giving tree for children who do not have
    - Church children's Christmas party
    - Office children of employees Christmas party

No, I don't know the woman, but just pointing out there may be other reasons. We won't know unless she comes on to SC and tells us.
