I was getting charlies in my lower legs, any time of day, seemed to be a medication side effect

Oh and I got violent about it too, punching at the muscles, stomping my legs, just trying to get the darned muscles to unlock (it would last for hours, I would end up bruised, yipping, frustrated)

Must ask the doc about quinine if you are regularly suffering - it definitely works! (I didn't personally try her Tonic Water suggestion because I don't like gin LOL seriously I wanted a definite solution and went with the pills. Worked!)

But if you can't get a prescription right away, the doc did have faith in tonic water...can't hurt to try.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately I was told by my Dr that i can not take quinine due to an undiagnosed condition that could involve my heart. Having said that, my charlie horses have pretty much moved from my right foot to my right calf.
