Please make sure you use distilled or purified water with the Neti Pots. A few weeks ago there was story on the news and in the newspaper how 2 people died using them with tap water. What I gather is that tap water has microorganisms that went to the brain. Both instances were southern states in the US.

If you use a Neti be sure not to use tap water in it. Several people have died because of infections from doing this.

I was just about to warn of the same thing. Also be sure that you have disinfected the netipot itself. If it has been sitting around awhile since your last use their may also be bacteria making themselves a home in their.
