Thank you all for the reps and winning words today....

I had another busy afternoon.... we terminated 4 employees back in the summer and I finally cleaned out two of the offices today.... what a job!!! Most of it went into the "shredding" boxes, but so much paper and crap to sort through!!! Feels good to get it done though.....

Wow, a job like that I could never do! I'm not to good with heights but I watched it through. They must have nerves of steel to climb all the way up there! I climbed up a pyramid in Mexico and was scared to take the first step back down!!! Took me a while to do it, and I sure won't try it again!

That's nothing. Watch tthe discovery channel episode where they build it. The guys are fastened to the lower sections trying to align and then bolt the next section all the while dealing with winds and the downwash of the helicopter bringing the section to them. Sometimes it gets to windy by the time they climb to the top and then have to quit and climb back down. No elevator yet.

Wow. I was OK for most of it, but when they got to the top, I found that my palms were sweating! Clearly, not the job to have if you have any type of headcold that would interfere with your balance!!

Daisy loves to run, jump, and swim after a stick in the water,
Loves to roll in the sand after, preferably on said stick,
and will go as long as I keep throwing the stick.

Today after 2 hours of walking and playing on the beach,
she looked at me in total disgust when I said it was time to go!
She sat at the edge of the beach in defiance, but I kept walking up the rocks,
so she comes blasting up to me, with stick, drops it and sits up pretty.

She slept the 3 hours home in the car and is now passed out on her bed.

Awfully long ways to go to throw a stick on a beach for two hours.
