Really hoping the Targets down here have Starbucks in them, would be so nice to have a Starbucks within walking distance of my house. Not super excited about the arrival of Target, most of the merchandise is the same as Zellers just sold under different names, so unless they bring in the stuff that we don't have down here(fruity pebbles, count chocola, and vanilla coke among others), I will still be going to the States to get my Target fix.
Just my guess they will sell the same merchandise as other Canadian stores that's what Walmart did.They didn't sell U.S. merchandise here.Quote:

Although I'm happy to be getting target, I'm still not sure what it will be different then a zellers with a name change. I'm concerned that it will be like Walmart where it's totally diff from the stores in the states. Not even able to take advantage of their online shops either. :(

And my sister in Halifax will not be pleased with the Target locations in Bedford and Dartmouth. She doesn't drive and it takes a long time to bus it to either of these locations. Here's hoping they will put one somewhere near the Halifax Shopping Centre or Chain Lake Drive soon after that.
