This is so annoying!
Lately when I go to accept hits they are gone so fast. It was never like this before. For example: Say I accept one hit and want to go do another and there were like 18 available... after I finish one hit they are all gone. I wonder if someone is cheating somehow because it just seems too quick to go as soon as it's put up..
So lately i'm only able to make a few cents a day

There are a lot of people using mturk though. If the HITs have enough time on them, you can accept as many of them as you think you can get done. You can always return them if you run out of time.

I think that's a bit greedy though. You should accept one at a time. Oh well, to each his own. For example some just got put up... 30 hits in total. I just accepted one and took less than a minute to do it and now all 30 are gone. I'm convinced it's one person accepting multiple hits. I think there should be a rule against that.

I didn't think it was possible to accept multiple HITs from the same task, as the Accept button goes opaque when your doing a task.
Or can you just leave that Task and go onto another task from the same Requester, by going back into the list of HIT's and Accepting again.Last edited by kirkeastment; Mon, Nov 15th, 2010 at 07:37 PM.

You can accept up to 10 HITs at a time (that is mturk's limit/ rule). You can open them in separate tabs. There's nothing "greedy" about it. That's how it works.

I was really spoiled by retaildata last week...I'm literally dying for them to put up a new batch.
Photomod doesn't seem to put up big batches anymore, do they? I remember when I first started doing them, you could sit there for an hour clicking, but now they're gone after a few minutes.
I do a couple of Dolores Labs "organize blog stories" a day, usually. They pay 25 cents and don't take too long. They're frustrating though, which is why I don't do more...if someone was good at them though, they could make good money with those.

Yea, some of the HITS are kinda annoying :l I guess you have to pick and choose which ones to do. Nevertheless, it's a great site
So far I've made about 15 dollars in Amazon GCs

I'm about to hit the $1000 mark! retaildata has been posting qualifying HITs lately -- grab them if you get the chance.

Can I ask someone to do me a favour?
I don't have a credit card and I wanted to get an estimate of how much The Tudors - The Complete Season Box Set would cost but since it's on my giftcard it won't let me view the total possible total cost. I need to know how much more I have to earn to get it. If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated. I wish they had cost calculator without that stupid shipping formula. They also charge an import fee which could be anything for any area but I figure it should be about the same for us Canadians. Thanks in advance for anyone who helps.
