Not for me thanks. Am still working on the bottle of wine at dinner (about a half sip left). Four of us and no one else wanted to partake in the bottle I opened. I know it wasn't a brand I typically buy, but it wasn't THAT bad!! I find myself thinking along the lines of the old Martha Stewart v Maxine joke:

Martha: Don't throw out all that leftover wine. Freeze into ice cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces.
Maxine: what's left over wine?


Kidlet and her beau came home for dinner. If I really were honest, I might say that she came home to pick up a needed piece of mail. However, I choose to believe that she came home for dinner and happened to take some mail back to university!!

Regardless, I really enjoyed spending time with her. Ain't it grand when you realize that you really do like your kid. I mean you will always love them, but you don;t always have to like them. I like mine (I think I'll keep her). She really is a wonderful person.

I can so relate to the kidlets visiting..... My son's girlfriend lives around the corner from our house, so I know he comes home on week-ends to visit her - not us...

Whenever my daughter comes home she always asks me to cook some "real" food and brings her whole wardrobe home so I can do her laundry.... that's ok.... I don't mind..... at least I get to see her....

I'm home today fighting another sinus infection.... I feel like my face was run over by a truck... The doctor gave me some heavy duty drugs yesterday, so I should be feeling better by tomorrow (once I get a few doses into me....)

When I went to fill the prescription last night, my drug card didn't work so I had to pay for them upfront... $83.17 for 28 pills...

I was able to submit the claim online when I got home, but I will still need to call them to see why the card didn't work at the pharmacy... (especially since I am the plan administrator at work... )

I'll do my best. I'll start off the day by saying good morning & wish everyone a pleasant day. It was so nice to hear from our friend Karlb via the_doctor. We'll all look forward to his return & we all send him our sincerest best wishes. It's been a hard year for many of us on here & I have found that the support & kindness that our "family" on here has been very comforting.

Santa Claus parade this weekend. Fast away the old year passes....how true is that?
