Wish I could help out with this project, but we are still getting caught up from DH being out of work, and then not getting paid.

Anyways if anyone out there can help... I was at RCSS Clairview today.
Mits and winter hats were on clearance, and there were some $5 backpacks in with the kids clothing (they were not super kiddy designs, more plain).

My hours have been cut from 40 to 10 but I am still looking for super cheap things for you as well as a job that I can do with my disabilities (next to impossible). I still believe in Karma. I have had many bad things happen in my life but I always try to give back even when it is hard (no money) because there are others worse off than me.

I have a bunch of long sleeve shirts for you.
    2 new quality underwear
1 new toque (I found yesterday good quality as well)
6 winter jackets (like new) I have collected

I will give one more shot today at work. I am staying away from Dollarstore items because I would like their items to last. You are doing great work.

I can add to the list
    6 new Dockers undershirts
    2 new scarves
13 pairs new underwear (yeah I just noticed I filled your underwear quota!)

I think I am done until I get more hours, win the lottery or get another job. I encourage all of you to do a little. My hours got my 75% but I still have a roof over my head so I will do what I can. I asked my friends and neighbors for their hand-me-downs. That doesn't cost anything. Please help those less fortunate.

    OK my sermon is over.

Can't wait to get all of this stuff out of my house. My point was to clear out my house and now I have more than I started with! Bring garbage bags with you.

She took the ones I collected for her and was very happy. I don't think she has updated this page yet.

Yes winter coats are very important... pm me for my address or you can also drop off at the Refuge Mission between 5 pm and 9 pm ... they have website

Other places that collect winter clothing are the Bissell Centre and the Mustard Seed as well as Hope Mission and a variety of womens shelters

my living room is full of bags of clothing and I have to sort through everything to give a current update...

Donations bringing 100 each for hair care, shaving cream, toothpaste, soap, travel kleenex, toothbrushes and underwear
We also are sending 50 backpacks, 60 pairs of gloves and mitts, 40 hats and 30 scarves.. even though I was hoping for 100 of each the need is great and I am bringing what I have now along with 10 bags of clothing including long sleeves sweaters and coats.... I am really happy with all the donations A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE... and remember the donations do not have to stop because I collect all year round. I am getting a letter from the Mission to show that I am supporting them all year and if I am really lucky it might help get more donations. WHAT A HAPPY DAY

Maybe I will start knitting my scraps into scarves for next year. May not be lovely but should be warm. Now I just have to find some time.
