Free is always nice, but I wasn't exactly jumping up and down excited at using my Dr. Oetker mousse FPC, just because I don't normally buy or eat that sort of thing. But Ontario Metro currently has them on as a 3 Bonus AirMile item, so you can earn 3 air miles on top of not paying a thing. THAT was more exciting

If its something you wouldnt normall eat then why don't you trade the coupon? Maybe get something more useful...
I tried it the last time they had the FPC out and it's actually quite good. Not something I'd eat everyday but I'm sure I can work it into a baking recipe :DRRLF Kellogg's pins for free breakfast

Well that's the good thing about trying something you don't normally eat, is that you might turn out to like it That and I don't have enough of a trade rating yet to easily trade with people.

I tried to do this but the cashier wouldn't even take my Airmiles card. She said, and quite rudely, "You're getting it for free and you want Airmiles too?"
Isn't she a cutie

Wow - that is so rude. A few weeks ago @ Metro I had a cashier like that, sighing and rolling her eyes at my three straightforward coupons and then making a big show of calling her manager over and asking him if there was any way he could override the system, because it was going to give me two Air Miles, but with the coupon discounts in her "expert opinion" it should only be giving me one. Thankfully he said, "What are you doing? We don't do that to people. The store gets reimbursed by the manufacturer." but some people act like discounts are being stolen directly from their bank accounts.
Sorry that happened to you

It's too bad some people hate their job so much. Thankfully I had a nice shop yesterday . I was able to give some coupons to a woman in line behind me at Walmart. I saved her $4 on her 95th birthday, it felt good. And the cashier was amazing with the coupons It's nice when things work out that way.
Isn't she a cutie
