question : coupons and rainchecks

my zellers NEVER has any of the stock that's on sale. they often run out, which means i'm always asking for rain checks. that said, when the item is on sale, i plan on using it with a coupon. sometimes, when they get the merchandise, my coupon is expired (but wasn't when the sale was on)...
so, can i still use the coupon or not?...

I would say if the coupon is expired then it would not be able to be used

No, if the coupon is expired then you can't use it. Try pm walmart and using coupons at the time of sale.

If the coupon didn't expire, you can use coupons on rainchecks. But an expired coupon is not accepted in any case.
