question about rain checks?????

Anyone know if stores give rain checks on sales not in the flyers?

Whenever I've asked for a raincheck, the cashier gets the current flyer and uses it to write down all the details like price, size etc.

If it isn't on special, wouldn't the price be the same next week (when presumably they will have more stock)? And if it is a clear-out, then they wouldn't be able to give you a rain-check for obvious reasons.

It's always had to to be in the flyer here in order to get a rain check.

You can ask about specific instore specials to see if they'll make an exception but generally it's with the flyer.

Also, it's only Friday. You still have time to check if they'll get more of whatever it is that you want.

There have been times before when I've gone and have seen stuff on sale, they were sold out but O would be told by employees the sale would continue to the following week...only to come back and the sale has ended

Just insist on a raincheck if they won't write one out for you ask for the manager.
