I have NO idea what I was dreaming about this morning, but I caught myself saying:
"I want to go to work in big, fluffy slippers and a housecoat."

I might talk in my sleep but the only time someone sleeps near me is when my brother and I share a hotel room (who told me I do) or when I am camping. I should setup a recorder one night to see! Wonder what I talk about? Wonder if that is when my cats begin to misbehave?

I second MrsS... How did you catch yourself!?
I've been known to talk in my sleep, but usually it is muttering gibberish. A couple years ago I was on a work trip with a friend/co-worker and we shared a hotel room. Let's just say I am glad we weren't sharing the same bed with the filthy things going through her head and out her mouth

I've caught myself, too - how it happens is you wake up and you are finishing a sentence, and realize what you've said and what the last bit of the dream is...
Oh, unfortunately I'm a big talker when I sleep - thank goodness it doesn't drive my husband totally crazy, but he sometimes is very puzzled in the morning and asks me about what I was dreaming because things I said didn't make sense. He says sometimes it's just muttering, but most often it's clear speech.
I've always worried about what I would say aloud when I had, you know, those 'special' kind of dreams....?
My son gets a huge kick out of hearing me - our bedroom door is always closed, and he can hear me in the hallway, and sometimes in his bedroom which is next door.
I used to walk in my sleep as an older teen - thank goodness THAT stopped!

Haha, oh my goodness.
Yea, I 'catch myself' talking when I start talking in my dream, and suddenly I'm conscious finishing off a sentence, but forget instantly what I was dreaming about. So this morning it was kind of like..
*in sleep* "I want to" *rolling over, slightly waking up* "go to work in big, fluffy" *becoming conscious* "slippers and a.." *realizing I'm actually talking* "housecoat...."
So hard to explain! Lol.Open for all coupon trades!

I don't think I've ever talked in my sleep and I've definitely never caught myself talking in my sleep.

I'm pretty sure I spoke in my sleep for the first time this weekend!
According to my boyfriend, I asked...
"Whhhhhaaat??" in a half laughing kind of tone. I woke him up. LOL. I had no idea until he told me in the morning.
He said he was kind of scared, but then he tried to not laugh too hard- he didn't want to wake me up..

I talk in my sleep all the time. I even started sleeping in the basement on the futon because it was waking up the baby and keeping her from sleeping through the night. (My husband suggested that was the problem and bless his heart he sleeps down there on the futon with me!) I don't catch myself doing it though.
I also sleep walk... and when I do, I have vague memories of what I did when I wake up in the morning. It's a really weird feeling. My husband gets a huge kick out of it, especially when I take any medicine (even Tylenol!) because it gets worse! My blog : Please join us as we talk about our journey, trials and triumphs with Autism!

Oh, yeah....I talk. I'm not sure if I'm dreaming or not, but people have had entire conversations with me that I don't remember at all. It was worse when I was a kid (or maybe I just think so because I mostly sleep alone these days).
My dad does it too - he will sit right up in bed and look at you and form complete sentences, you can't tell he's unconscious. We tease him about it - one time we were watching a mini-series (The Thornbirds - that will give you an idea of how long ago!) and my sister, my stepmother and I each went down at the commercials to try to get him to come upstairs, because he had asked us to wake him...he carried on conversations with each of us and was upset when he finally did come up because he had missed the movie and accused us of not coming down to get him...LOL.

I caught my DH talk in his sleep and ever laugh sometimes. Everytime he says something it doesnt make any sense. I'm like what the hell did you said?
I respond in my sleep my DH often ask me some question while I'm asleep. He ask things like do I love him or what's his bday gift. Unfortunally for the bday gift I tell the truth. He told me that when he ask me if I love him I answer : A lot.

I once fell asleep on the couch, sat up while I was still asleep and was making the motion of pushing something under the couch. My brother asked me what I was doing and I replied "Putting moms kids away(or was it 'under the couch'?)".
Or, one time I got up in my sleep and he was in the living room on the computer, and he asked me what I was doing and I said "I gotta pee" and walked out the front door.Previously CanadianBella... I'm baaack!
