I have a question about the bank. Whats the purpose of putting our candies in the bank.??? Do we get interest?

It comes as part of the software package for candyland, not sure if SC has it set up for interest but in some forums you can 'steal' candies from other members if they are not in the bank too

when I try to put candies in the bank it tells me I don't have enough points to do that? How much points do I need?

When I put my candies in the bank it tells me that the interest is at 0%, lol, is everyone else's interest set up at 0 too? Just wondering
