Sometimes we “brake” to give others a “break”,
Sometimes our bones “creak” & we feel up the “creek”,
Sometimes we eat “steak” & assess what’s at “stake”,
Sometimes we have “won” & we find we are “one”,
Sometimes we need to “roll” & keep playing our “role”,
Sometimes we feel “weak” at the end of the “week”,
Sometimes we drink “wine” & sometimes we just “whine”,
Sometimes we dance round a “pole” & find support on a “poll”,
Sometimes we “fair” better & sometimes we pay a “fare,
Sometimes we “peek” & reach our desired “peak”,
Sometimes we feel the warm “sun” as we talk to our “son”,
Sometimes animals “stalk” & sometimes we take “stock”,
Sometimes we hope we don’t get “caught” or we sleep on a “cot”,
Sometimes it takes “two” but you all knew that “too”,
Sometimes bills are “due” & you have things to “do”,
Sometimes you can tell a “story” from the 25th “storey”,
Sometimes you can say “hi” from away far up “high”,
Sometimes you can “sew” or you can just say “so”,
Sometimes you run as fast as a “hare” & you mess up your “hair”,
Sometimes “they’re” not all that nice & sometimes they are “there”,
Sometimes you launch a “flare” & you do it with “flair”……
