    Hi all,

I've run out of my stockpile of BS chicken breasts and it's been quite some time since I bought any.

There are a couple of stores this week that have them advertised for $4.99/lb. Is that a good price? I've been looking at some of the prices for chicken lately and have been

    Any input would be appreciated.

$4.99 is a "normal" sale. I usually do stock up at that price, especially if it is a 10% off day at safeway. Once in a blue moon it will $4.49...but haven't seen it lower than that is a while.

For anyone that goes to Grand Forks, I was just there and the BS chicken breasts were 1.97lb at Sams Club. Also, ground turkey was 2.50lb, also a great price. I found the other types of meat to be comparable to here.

I don't know. I didn't have a problem and they looked at my receipts.

Just checked it out and you can bring 20kgs of poultry back.

Here is the link to items and limits. http://www.beaware.gc.ca/english/brirape.shtml

If you are going or if you know someone who is going you cannot beat the price! I always bring a cooler or those cooler bags with me when I go.

Thanks everyone, I think I'll buy a few packs, will probably just go up in the future. LOL Or will last me until a better sale comes along.

Funny thing is that I was going to go to the States this week, but had a change in plans.

Not sure if it's still the same, but I always loved their chicken, nice yellow colour (from being corn fed I think).

If you're looking at meat from the states, you might want to double check their rules about what goes into the animals. I'm not sure if it differs from here, but I know, for example, that their milk is filled with all sorts of things that aren't allowed here just something to consider!

Cantor's has the CB on for $4.89. If you have the Show n Save 10% coupon it makes it a decent deal.

And if anyone wants to trade their Show n Save Cantor's coupons I'm available for trades.
