Me too. The cashier said I can only use the coupon for the products on the picture. After I read the fine print, I think she is right

i was able to use it on the softlips Sweet - french vanilla, which was the only one on sale in my store anyway..
but I did print 2 pages, the page of the coupon PDF and the page before that with a thumbnail of the coupon and the web address..

The only reason they took mine was because I bought other products and gave the coupon at the end. So technically they took 2 dollars off my entire purchase, not just the soft lips.

I had the same problem. I went to one to redeem and the wouldn't do it, but I didn't have anything else with it. So I went to another shoppers and had something else with the soft lips and they did it. I got 4! I will just go each day and do a few each day.

I went in with 1 coupon for the Soft Lips, 2X $1 WUB 2 Campbells cream soup and and $0.88 roll of tin foil. Total came to $1.17. I think they feel better when you're at least paying something. Cashier had to do a double take as I fished my loonie and quarter out of my pocket. The bonus points were a nice surprise!

I also had trouble using the coupon at SDM. Yada, yada - the coupon is for $2, the product is only $1.99. I suggested they could adjust the coupon -- no we can't, it will mess up our bookkeeping, yada yada.

And the manager missed the point (although he was very nice and tried to figure out how to do it -- it was the head cashier who nixed it). He told me to come back when it wasn't on sale so that I could use the coupon...! My response was: why would I do that?! He thought about it and said, oh yeah...

Great idea! MY SDM is out of them too!!! Better to get them at 20X day!!

BTW, does anyone know how long the BP of 300 is on for??

4 seperate SDM transactions... all for 2 or more items with only 1 softlips+coupon.
1st two transactions: no problems.
3rd transaction: cash register would not let it go through... I suggested she ring in my non-discounted item first and then register accepted coupon.
4th transaction: cashier refused, said manager says no go for $2 coupon for 1.99 item. I also suggested that she ring in my non-discounted item first. She said she would get fired.

forgot to look to see if i got 300 pts [EDIT: checked... yep 300 pts each]

picked up a fourth at Jean-Coutu (no issues there at all)

Was it only valid on certain types? I've read a ton of people using this coupon on this forum.

I am so happy I didn't read thise thread first... but I finally tried to use my first printed coupon (I was to chicken before). I was able to get 3 softlips for my kids stockings. I was sooo happy.

Now reading this thread I will be too chicken try again LOL.

Printables at SDM are a hit or a miss depending on the cashier & store .

Even the Head Office won't give you a clear answer when it comes to printables ..they won't say YES or NO ..they will just say that its at the discretion of the individual SDM stores ..whatever that means ..LOL

Since lot ( most ) of the SDM stores are Franchise type stores .. it depends on the store owner who usually is the SDM Pharmacy Manager or Owner ..LOL
