I scored some Kraft handi-snacks $.35 coupons at SOF today, only to find at home that the expiry date is Dec 31/11.
Why do stores do that?!
Do you think I can call it on them and still get the deal?

They might not check, honestly. The coupons are left there for some stores by the distributor, and each section's employees put them out. They might just not think to check. Just mention it and maybe they'll be reminded to just give another look before they put them out.
Some stores, like safeway, I've seen SmartSource people at. If that's who's putting them out, there's no excuse for that.

My local Sobeys does this too! It's even more irritating if you find and try to use the coupon in the same trip, not realizing it's expired until you get to the till.
