Shopping road trip to ONT or NB? Just kidding - I would definatly call J & J they could possibly have Quebec specific coupons and if that fail you could trade them - someone might have ones without quebec restrictions.

thank the provincial laws for that. if it's for any medicinal things, like tylenol or even mouthwash, we're not supposed to be allowed to use coupons in the pharmacy. that's why when everyone else got printable listerine coupons, quebec's was a mir.

The coupon i had was of Jhonsons baby essentials and then the other day i tried anther coupon which is $2 off any displayed products like Splenda etc(i wanted to use it for splenda) but unfortunatle it also says the same"not be used in any store or pharmacy in Quebec).i called J & J but they said that this all we have and every1 is getting the same coupouns and also its not us who put this restriction but its the Quebec laws or something which is not permitting us use these coupons there....
....strange no one else in Quebec had this problem..?????

Tbites, I am the one who called them and they said because "some" of their products "may be considered" to have medicinal ingredients (i.e. creams), they had to have it as a MIR in Quebec.
However, last I checked Stayfree pads did not have any medicinal ingredients. So I complained again. I was told that the company could not print coupons specific for each of their products and had to group products together - Stayfree, OB, Tucks - well Tucks has medicinal ingredients, hence the MIR in Quebec.
I am saving them to use just over the border in Hawkesbury next time Pharmaprix has a 20x the points with a good sale on Stayfree. I am not doing a MIR.

I guess the "retinol" in my face cream is a medicinal ingredient
Damn wrinkles ! I've been meaning to email them about the MIR because I wonder if they have a limit of 1 MIR per household or per transaction... when I buy their stuff.. it's always because I buy on sale and multiples at a time. Is that why you won't use them as MIR ?

I won't use them as an MIR because it is a bit of a hassle and I am afraid that I will have problems if I buy multiples of one product. What if they make a mistake and I don't get my money back?
As well, it is the principle of the thing. I don't understand why they can't just have coupons for the non medicinal products like tampons and pads and the MIR for the other stuff?
