yesterday i told minime to do something and he said "That was the stupidist idea i've ever heard"
so i sent him to his room and told him he couldn't have a cupcake ... then he went downstairs crying to DH and DH comes upstairs and said dear tell me what happened ... so i repeated what minime said and DH goes "THAT'S the S-Word he said?! bahahahahhaa" apparently minime was like "I said the S word and I got in big trouble daddy"

I swear bub minime says the cutest things - you always make me smile with your stories
I hope you're writing all those lovely things down(apart from on this post!) - if only to look through when you need a chuckle or a smile

this is a fav

my older son but he was about 4 at the time got a paper that had pictures and instructions on how to make a paper airplane ... so he said, "Daddy, lets make a paper airplane! And we can't forget the step where you poke out your eye" and we were like HUH??? And we look at the paper and it has a picture of the kid poking his eye with the plane as a caution that that can happen if you aren't careful ... so DH says "No minime it means you have to be careful to not poke your eye" and minime is like "nooooo daddy, i see it right there, it's the last step! You poke your eye with the plane!!"

I should be careful what I wished for... Last night, for some bizzare reason, I missed seeing Ethan smile while he was asleep... And I wrote that in my FB... and guess what... the lil rascal woke up twice during the night to smile for me... Not the greatest idea... GAH!
