No Frills Give Rain Check?

Does anyone know if No Frills would give me a raincheck on their black diamond cheese 300g for $3 this week if I go in on thursday night and there isn't any of a particular kind left.

The reason I ask is I should have some BD coupons coming in the mail and I'm sure that by the time they come the store will be sold out.

NF is notorious for not having enough stock.
Just got the Always at Wally Mart during lunch.
Because of the snow, Wally Mart was tumble weed city -- empty, empty.

You know when that cheese will arrive?
Two to three days AFTER the sale is over.

Same thing happened to me with a super fantastic sale on the huge tins of canned sockeye salmon.
Not a fish in the store.

yes, this is the reason why I loathe No frills in general, as well as them not accepting credit cards. They NEVER have enough stock. You should see my local no frills the day of a sale its like black friday in the states, pushing shoving, line ups to get in the store! Its insane. Okay I might of exaggerated a tiny bit but seriously, your lucky if you get a sale item on saturdays. I'm thinking I'll hit up my local store and then hit another one in another town since I will be in that area doing other shopping anyways but I doubt if I will get any at either.

My mom called me at 11:44am (just checked the caller id) this morning to tell me the chicken was almost gone, just a few packages left and wanted to know if she should get them for me as DH was working and I don't drive. 3 hours after they open and almost sold out of something. Tell me this makes sense?

Oshawa accepts credit cards. Use to be Master Card only, because of the PC Master Card. Now they have come over to the dark side and accept VISA too.

With Target/Tarjay coming, don't be surprised that you see improved service, more stock for sales, and friendlier staff. They will want to keep you as their customer.

I have 3 close to me !!! They r lovely!! The closest one loves when I price match and have coupons ! They like to see how much I save!! They often keep the sale going until the stock is gone so I can get sale stuff for the next week! They have even called me when they have got something in that I wanted!!! I have one even further and they r mean there!!! I don't go there and I told the owner that...he is mean too

My NF HATES couponers. The women will pull out every excuse in the book to not accept them such as one per purchase, you have to buy 3 DIFFERENT brands, despite it not saying different. If it does't specify a size then you just can't use it. Its just horrible. Another time I had a few dollars in quarters/nickles/dimes and they refused me service. I was shocked. It was well under $5.

Exactly! I know their tactic, get you in the store but don't actually carry the item or have it in stock but hope that you will buy all your other items since your there anyways. NOT HAPPENING. I told this to the SDM manager back when there was that Royale tissues sale a few weeks back.

Purplebunny thats terrible - My No Frills has the friendliest staff and owner and usually have tons of the sale items in stock - and when they do run out they always have it on order for the next day or two.

And not taking change - that's nuts I would've contacted Loblaws H.O.
