18-55 IS Lens included. The man told me that if you get the other lens (retails around $350) you can get the 2 lenses, the camera body for $999. Which is an awesome deal for the t2i. Best deal I could find anywhere.
You get 389 Aeroplan miles with purchase.

He told me the sale would likely hold after Christmas as well!
(I have fingers crossed for a Bday gift!
)
$598- for the T1i (with the 18-55 lens) is pretty good too!

Best deal I've seen so far (if you are interested in both the 18-55mm IS lens and the 55-250mm IS telephoto lens) was at Henrys. I purchased the T2i with both lenses and the accessory kit which came with a Canon Branded bag (made by Lowepro), HDMI cable, and a 4GB memory card (class 10). Before tax this came up to $969.99 -- total after tax here in Ontario was $1096. This package is currently being advertised as $979.99 from Henrys so I am unsure if they just entered the information wrong as I ended up getting it for less than that price.
Also -- the actual bundle that they are advertising the sale on is sold out as most locations but the location I went to was willing to create the bundle for me (camera body and two separate lenses).
Absolutely adore this camera so far!!Last edited by temptress; Mon, Dec 20th, 2010 at 03:01 PM.

That's a really good deal if you don't need the second lens. If you need the second lens, it's better to bundle, but EEP! I wish DH was home to jump on this!

When I was trying to discuss a deal with Future Shop on this camera, they offered to give it to me for $700 before tax! However, the discount that they gave me on the second lens wasn't significant enough to make the deal better than what I was getting at Henrys. However if the camera and base lens is what you are looking for, there are definitely ways to negotiate better than advertised prices even from stores like Futureshop!

must....... resist.......
I need the second lens (55-250mm) and since it's already costing $350, it looks like I might give in and buy this. But then I will have a T1i which will be gathering dust.Last edited by travelgeek; Tue, Dec 21st, 2010 at 10:54 PM.
