Hey everyone! Just got back from Walmart with a free Scrubbing Bubbles starter pack.

    Starter Pack normally: $9.87
I used a $5.00 CZ coupon and Walmart price matched it, making it $4.87
Then used an old SS coupon for $5.00 off a Scrubbing Bubbles Starter Kit.

    Final price -$.13

    OOP after tax $.45

Glad I got this, as the CZ expired tonight.

Also, was there/is there a deal or coupons for getting the refills? I have the $1.00 off, but that's it.

I have a feeling my Walmart won't let me do that!

It would be nice if someone had an email from head office stating we could...but I don't, which sucks.

Great for y'all that CAN do it though!!

Thanks! I just called tonight and asked if they will honor CZ's as price matches, and she said there's no problem

Can someone explain this for me? How do they pricematch a $5 off coupon?

Great deal by the way.Would love to do this myself if I knew what to say etc.

Well I phoned up the store, and asked to speak to someone about price matching & coupons. I got sent to the Customer service manage I think, and just asked her if I could use a Superstore Coupon Zone Coupon at Walmart, and she said it was fine. She said they use it like a price match and will just take $5.00 off - so you can still use another coupon with it, because they don't actually count the price match as a coupon.

Hope that cleared it up, I can try explaining it better for you if you need

Oh, and I hear some stores do it, some won't. I guess I'm lucky mine said it's fine? ^^

Not sure if that should be considered price matching....

It's technically not "price matching", but a few Walmart stores are allowing them to be entered this way. They punch it in as a "price override" and allow a manf. coupon on top.

I guess this is one of their ways of keeping their customers and beating their competitors. Maybe they figure, "if the coupon can be used at Loblaws/RCSS we'll do one better; accept their coupon and let customers use a manf.coupon! We get reimbursed the manf.coupon and the customer ends up returning to buy other things etc."

I recently found this out myself!

NICE JOB!! Called my WM, they allow the CZ coupon but not in conjunction with a manf. coupon , still it opens up a lot of options that i didnt realize that I had. Hurray!! and maybe it will become a store wide policy in the future, especially when Target moves on in...So Jealous, great job!

You are absolutely correct. They punch in the CZ coupon amount as a reduction to the reg. price just like OP explained. They should allow a manufacture coupon on top but some stored may not.

Great brag, if that's the route walmart wants to go to beat out their competitors then why question it. It seems multiple people have talked to store managers about it and they seem to be okay with it. Maybe a letter needs to be written to head office then we will know if some store managers are misinformed or if this is a policy that we should all be taking advantage of.
