Early Christmas Gifts

I got two early Christmas gifts today, well okay I got one and my dad got the other one but same household!

First of all I get the mail today and there is a $10 coupon from Nestle!!! Now you are probably wondering why I would get that???

Well a long time ago I put in for the Taster Choice Stix FPC and coupons... I also had one put in dad's name and sent to the neighbour's house. Well dad got his and mine never came... I waited a while and they still never showed up. So I phoned and asked why mine never came. The guy I talked to said he would look into it and email me back. He did and said I should have gotten them but they would re-send them... He said if I didn't get them by the end of October to call back.

Sure enough, no coupon came so I phone again and get a story about them "having trouble with printing coupons" and to give them another month...

Again I wait, call them back in the beginning of December and got the same exact story. I told the lady I was tired of the story and just wanted an FPC for the Stix. She told me not to worry, to give it 4-6 weeks and I should have it. I had given up home when FINALLY the coupon came!!! Now I just need a good deal to cash it in on!!!

Okay second thing, dad was out today and stopped at Price Chopper. He grabbed a box of the Jane's Chicken Nuggets that were $7.99. He got a couple of other things too.. he goes up to the cash and the guy rings in everything and tells dad the total. Dad says "That is too much!" and noticed the nuggets said $11.99. He pointed it out to the guy and the guy looked at the ad and says "Yeah you are right, they are on sale!". He called someone over and rang up the order again and told dad again. When dad told him he had given too much change to him, the guy said "No I didn't, the nuggets were wrong so you get them FREE!!" When dad told me, I told him "Nice! You got a SCOP!" He thought I meant mouthwash!

I told him to hurry back and get more.. but he said "Not a chance in that mess!!!!" So one free box it is!!!!!

BTW, this was in Brantford Ontario!

I find that Price Choppers awesome for scops, you don't even have to ask for them they tell you! Nice deals especially for your dad!

Wow! That's awesome! Price Chopper is great, but I find not so much for coupons...it seems the cashiers don't have much authority...I tried to use some coupons once and had to wait 15 mins for the manger to come check them :S

I went in one day earlier this month and bought 10 boxes of the TC Stix and used my 10 $1 off coupons. Guy didn't even bat an eye as he rang em in.... the guy behind me was like "Man that is a cr*pload of coupons you got!"... I just smiled and paid my cheap bill and walked out!
