breakfast with derringer was an easy one... i won a couple times with one entry...
...hell, i even won when i didn't have any entries at all, just an e-mail saying that they had space, and i could come along, since i was a previous winner...
i went ot he ones at a few jack astors locations, couldn't see venturing into the bowels of the city at that ungodly early hour...

...all you can eat brekkie, Q guys right there to heckle
just the way to start your day...

Actually I was invited to the breakfast once but it was in the dead of winter and that is an ungodly time for it!

Has anyone else been to the Derringer breakfast, if so what was it like?

And oh yea feel kind of foolish the way I spelled stalker (stocker!) no one else made that mistake!

hey, everybod! not in for the 4:15p; on listening online...this sucks.

i wrote the above sentence over an hour ago. i've been trying to catch up with everyone and reparoni. i've since written two somewhat humourous notes on a variety of observations, but my fri**'n man hands keep bumping into these little, tiny keys and G knows where the stuff goes...no mouse...anytime my fingers come within a foot of this,,,

oh, BTW. i made the "drop" today at an obscure gas st'n in the worst part of town...hookers, pimps, drug addicts, criminals...you know; outside a scarborough playground. i passed my tower from inside my secure vehicle along with a plain paper bag that contained my discs. he checks under the cover only to exclaim, "oh, no! not a dell!" WTF does that mean? i sez if u can't fix it my sister offered to come to town and do it for me", 'no' he sez, "it'll just be a little more complicated then i expected."
wtf does that mean, techies? more dinaro? si. i offered to drive him to his door, but he muttered something and scurried down a back alley. whew! i hate being broke.

i better post and get out of my daughter-in-laws kitchen.

shhhhhhhhhhhhhh i got here before her to 'let the dog out"...that's my excuse for being here yet again...yup, i'm the who of "who let the dogs out"

Hey, 2015 is only 6 years away! That means we will all have our flying cars powered by Mr. Fusion. I'm not looking forward to the double neckties or the kids with their pockes turned inside out though.

My lovely wife and former lover (as Charlie Farqharrson used to say) and I were at a Derringer breakfast in Newmarket a couple of years ago. Food was fine, and free, and the entertainment was non-stop. Ryan especially was a hoot. My only complaint was that it was very crowded. If you intend to go to one GET THERE EARLY so you can get a seat!! Oh - John was nice enough to pose with me for a photo.

Hope they have another breakfast up near me!!

Speaking OF the future - we already have pocket comunnicators a/la "Star Trek," and whooshing sliding doors from the same, lasers are everywhere - I have a green one for pointing at stars - and you can actually SPEAK to your computer and it will answer you! My, how time flies.

Which reminds me of the old saying, by the philosopher Etaoin Shrdlu:

"Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a bananna."
