I just figured out what you guys were talking about when you kept say rep all the time. You have to explain this to the newbies. I'm handing them out now so I'm in the know now.

Nope. Lurkers looking for cash grab words.

Maybe one should have to be logged in to view the forums here?
What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

They both look good until they hit the ice.

There is such a blend of folks on here, all stylish & unique,
Sometimes we exhibit quite the wit & sometimes quite the cheek,
If you’ve come here to get the words & maybe a smile or two,
Or just pop in quick & say hello to catch up & review,
Share little snippets of our lives along this “Q” highway,
Makes our camaraderie mean much more then just words of the day,
We are all real people, who have things in our lives,
Some of us wonderful husbands & some are darling wives,
We’ve had sadness here & jubilance there,
& some have secrets that are best not to share,
Once and a while there has been some bickering,
But we always bounce back, all the way snickering,
I like how all of you contribute however you are able,
& you guests out there you know there’s room for more at our table!

Is that the one where he says something like "its Dad.....and he's got the belt"? If it is I remember crying with laughter at that. Forgot all about it but it is totally classic!!!!

Cosby's been one of my favourite stand-up comedians since grade six. I can't remember the purpose, but my teacher at the time, Ms. Nichols, would play a side of an album every day. Usually it was a popular album at the time, which I had no interest in (how times have changed, lol), but when she'd play Bill Cosby or Bob Newhart's stand-up, I was rivited.

Some favourite Cosby Routines: Noah, Driving in San Francisco, Buck-Buck, Revenge, The 9th Street Bridge, My Brother Russell, Tonsils.

YES!!! Also the one where his brother Russell was laughing at their father at the dinner table, and dad "smacked his face clean off". And where Bill broke the bed, causing his dad to come flying into the bedroom. (I think they blamed burglars?)

I didn't realize Bob Newhart was a stand up comic until a few years back when I heard a hilarious routine on the radio-he is so smart, so classy and funny as hell. I just assumed he only had his show so now I always seeking out his stuff...
