In my humble opinion, my expectations have been exceeded,
The elation on the youthful faces as they get to touch their dream,
It’s ever so encouraging that Canadian pride does still beam,
This sure has been a reminder of what belief is all about,
Look where it can take you when you leave no room for doubt,
The abundance of good fortune we live, we often take for granted,
& sometimes we let the news we read get us so disenchanted,
A simple example of Canadian spirit has been demonstrated right here,
Your event updates of all events have been something to revere,
It’s been a captivating couple of weeks & it’s drawing to the finale,
& I for one am just in awe of our impressive medal tally!

What is up?


Well last night was interesting... needed the inhaler a couple of times during the last 90 seconds in the 3rd but they pulled it out!


On Sunday @ 3:15pm Canada vs U.S.A for the gold. Doesn't get much better than this.


Last night Jen was correct in the 3-2 score so congratulations to her.


Up for grabs if you tell me the correct score in the gold medal game is... "Sonic Boom"-The Impact of Led Zeppelin (book), The Who live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 on Blu-Ray, and a 80GB Black Classic iPod. (This will also need to be picked up as this is too heavy to ship)


So let me know the score and you could win all of this.

I took the time to briefly skim the posts I missed and I am pleased to see a long overdue change has been implemented. The banter has returned to its former magnificence here and it feels like I have indeed returned home.

Good morning Qbee's well im feeling very rough this morning why do I think im still 20
I dont know but Kellyb and I showed those young half naked chicks at the club how to

....and some eejit from the Times newspaper in London was slagging Canada for their "Own the Podium" saying, whining that we have lost our humility and graciousness while we are winning.....well, I just HAD to sign up to post a comment, asking him to please send along vidoes on how we should be doing it, maybe starting with their ultra gracious soccer fans???.....we'll see if my comment passes their editors and gets published....TR

....ROFL!!!....why thank you, Ma'am!!!....good to know!!!....but man, oh man, this is going to be some kinda nailbiter game today, yes???.....
......if Canada thought it was a shoo-in, it's not going to be whatsoever......I know it's Canada's game, but basically today's game is a best-of-the-best from the NHL.....dunno if anyone could call what the outcome might be.....fingers crossed, toes crossed, eyes crossed.....it's going to be the most watched game ever in this country, and maybe the States too....we just HAVE to end with gold, that would be sooo perfect to top off Canada's best medal showing ever.....GO CANADA!!!!!!.....TR
