aaargghh!!!!...I always seem to get wrapped up in viewing old posts, repping as I go, answering a few, then FINALLY saying hello to everyone.....HELLO EVERYONE!!!...hehehe!!!.....it's a kinda damp mild day out today, just the kinda day to win gold, I'm thinking......it matches Vancouver's weather, so it's only fitting....

Good morning fellow Canucks!

Looking forward to the big game this afternoon. I'm sure everyone in the country will be tuning in. Everyone except, perhaps 6ffighter9. I'm sure he will be watching some DVDs.

I am also looking forward to watching the closing ceremonies this evening. As much of a spectacle these ceremonies are, there is always that feeling of loss and that the end is here. Then we have to wait for two long years for the 2012 London Olympics.

Good (barely) morning everyone!

I was thinking that they should have opened up the ACC today to watch the gold medal game. They could have $2-5 admission for some local charity and made a few bucks off concessions. I know the Raptors are out of town this weekend so- unless there is another event going on- they should have taken advantage of a goodwill opportunity.

Good day all, thanks to everyone for their posts!. I have a wedding shower today from 2-5 in Brampton but I am planning on leaving early to come home and watch the game, really who plans a wedding shower on the day of THE gold medal game!

Thanks for all the ww, trivia, and reps everyone! Been away, got more spirited and took part in some olympic events myself yesterday, some beer olympics that is! I won myself a silver medal for beer curling!

I was going to send an email to Q asking the same thing - until I reread the fine print. It says we are allowed one entery per broadcasted/announced. Hold on, fuzzines setting in, let me check ....

CLUB Q members registered for this Contest may only submit one (1) entry in connection with each broadcast of a Winning Word. Entries are subject to verification.

Money has been broadcast 3 times, so we can have 3 money entries; moolah and gold have been used twice so we can have 2 of those as well. That suggests they will be constantly running a check program on each of our entry libraries and deleting any extraneous submissions. Sounds like way too much work to me. Easier on all concerned (them and us) had they simply gone the winning word route per AC/DC or UK contests.
