It's awesome! If you are a fan of reading, especially reading digital books, you should love it. People are getting confused and comparing it to a tablet. It's not supposed to be compared to a tablet. It's a dedicated eReader that uses eInk to mimic real paper. Not a device to watch movies on, play angry birds and whatnot. It's meant for reading books! I love mine.
This was a great offer from Sony.

I'm sure the ereader is fine, but since I prefer old-fashioned paper based books, I've thrown the reader up on Kijiji for sale.
Update: Sold on Kijiji for $130Last edited by mulock; Sat, Apr 7th, 2012 at 09:19 AM.

I got the ereader but I am not sure it is working right.
I try to get it to connect to my home network. That part is not as easy and it should be. Atleast I can load it from my computer.Last edited by kerrylj; Thu, Apr 5th, 2012 at 05:04 PM.

Phew glad someone else got the charge sent to them as well. What was the outcome of that? Did it end up being charged to your mastercard? Does anyone find that their screen flickers everytime you touch the screen, and is this normal?

What they sent was a receipt so you have something in case you need help with it under the warranty.
It does flicker a bit as it is registering the touch on the screen. I figure that is normal since it is reading the touch on the screen and the touch is putting pressure on the liquid crystal display so it can't display in that area since it is a thin film of liquid in the screen that does the display.
You could always call them and ask if that is normal
