Ok another crossed off my list as I listed this on my wishlist
I ONLY read John Grisham novels, OBSESSED really, out of his whole collection I am only missing 2 books, 1 just came out and the other is MY MOST WISHED for item which I will happily accept new or used as this book is IMPOSSIBLE to find and has eluded me for years
Previously viewed DVD's are ok but the list is way too long - any new popular movies from the last few years (no scary movies) (romance/funny movies are good)
Burnt DVD's are a NO as we have nothing to play them on
ARE YOU MY BUDDY!!!!!!!
Like mrssunshine said "if it something you would be happy to receive it is good!
So general question - I have a pretty decent bag full of goodies but how much is typically included? Obviously there's more in there than just the 6 required items but how much is too much/not enough/just right - the whole three bears.
Since i've never ridden one of these trains before I'm having trouble deciding when to stop haha[/QUOTE]Last edited by Peachykeen2007; Sun, Apr 15th, 2012 at 05:55 PM.

O man I hate not checking in here for more then 2 hrs! I get so far behind! Thank you kitkong for listing/answering all the questions for me lol
I can never find time to read but when I do find a good book I don;t mind used at all. ... DVDs we download all we want to watch really but I love horror movies and am behind on all movies that have come out in the last 2 yrs since I ve had my son. New or used or Burned are always good with me.
I do not need a coupon binder as I already have an accordion folder that has been working great for me.
I hope i've answered everything.

Yikes, I go away for one weekend and I am horribly behind!
I love books! Used works for me, I read anything but really like fantasy, sci-fi, thrillers... I guess mystery would be included in there! Hate self help book, biographies, etc... Honestly I am also a closet romance/chick lit reader and I love teen books! /hides face in shame.
Love movies! used or burned are fine with me - even TV series are good. Comedies, thrillers, mysteries. I don't mind horror either... but not the gory kind! I am dying to see an American Haunting if my buddy happens to have those to burn, lol
To try and answer the other questions I missed: Healthy cookbooks, BBQ cookbooks, Campbells/Weight Watchers Cookbooks or Slow Cooker recipes would be handy for me.
Fast food - MacDonalds or Orange Julius
Coupon Binder - no thank you
Socks - like solid colour ones....
Most wished for item - ... I don't know
Voted! Can I admit I had a brief panic attack when I saw the skill testing question... then I realized I knew the answer and it was ok... I've never been good at math

Awesome score, Jezz... Way to go!!! I would LOVE toi win $486.!!!
I'm not a huge reader, but used books & DVD's are fine & dandy with me! I'm kinda behind on my movies, too. I actually went to a movie theatre Friday night and saw 21 Jump St. Never laughed SO hard!!
That is a tough one... but there has to come a point where you STOP SHOPPING!!! I know, I know.... not an easy thing to do! What I did was... I got the req'd 6 (maybe a few more) items.... and the rest are surprises. Things I'd like, things I saw in the forum, things that went with anything said in the little blurb above the wishlist. "Go Withs" I call 'em!! This is only the 4th or 5th package train I've been on (second time hosting....) and everytime it was very difficult for me to stop buying.... and remember, it's going to cost roughly $20 to send a box. I use a wipes-refills box to ship my package trains.
I know what you mean... I was on last night, and not again until now, and I still had 5 pages to read!!!
Oh..... and I think my secreet sender (I'm the conductor... I know who she is... LOL!) crossed my "most-wished for" item off my list. ...but I didn't put it on my list! Back in January, I asked Jezz if I could host a Valentine's Day package train -- but I couldn't because one was already on the go -- OK, no problem... so I asked Jezz to sent me a valentine date, if she could fit it thru the little slot thingy at the post office. Well, on Friday night, I had a date.... but I don't know how Jezz did it! There. I had to brag!!!!! LOL LOL LOL

Hogama, I'm a real slow reader and sometimes I don't understand what I read and am too shy to ask for things to be explained. But you have my curiosity going now...Jezz got you a real date? Meaning human? (For some reason I'm thinking date as in on a calender, lol). If so, how did it go ? Tell us all about him .
I was so busy going gaga over all the kidlet photos last night that I forgot all about the questions asked. My favorite chocolate is semi-sweet/dark...I've just discovered Theobroma and am enjoying it a bit too much . If I'm desperate, I'll even eat handfuls of semi-sweet chocolate chips, lol. I don't think I need a coupon binder. I use small soft-covered photo albums and a shoe box if I'm tempted to clean up the piles off my desk. Used books are fantastic. While I sometimes have difficulties, I do spend hours reading every night. No romance, self-help, or scary stuff though but any other best-seller or amusing biographies are great. Cookbooks...hmm...maybe a used copy of some easy bread recipes (not for breadmakers though). Tested, tried, and true recipes written out by hand are just as good for me. Socks I have plenty of so no need for more. I can't remember if I wrote anything down for a most wished for item and I can't think of anything at the moment so I'll be of no use for that one, lol.~RRLF $0.75 Organic Meadow, $1 Almond Fresh~

oh i think i missed that one! All sorts of books are great with me. If you have a particularly helpful potty training book, however, i would be eternally grateful. I feel like i've tried everything - stickers, toys, songs, dances, the straight to underwear method (dont' even get me started on that disaster!) and i clearly suck at potty training. I think it's time to start turning to the self help section....
As for movies, we're a netflix, Shaw-on-Demand type family. The only exception would be kids movies. I'm starting to build our collection for future road trips and would love some of the old school disney movies and even some of the tv shows that are out there.

Nah.... but I'm giving Jezebel credit for it anyway!!! That would be one tall order if I did put it on my wishlist!!! Yes, I had a real (human! haha) date with a very sweet guy I only met a couple of times this winter. Asked me to my face, too (not over Facebook or by text, etc....) Gotta give him extra points for that.

I'm in the same boat.... trying to potty train my son. I've been at it a little over a month now. He will NOT tell me when he has to go... so I just ask him every hour. Unless we're out around town -- then he yells 'PEEEEEEEEEE' whenever we're in a store/restaurant/etc. He just wants to 'check out' the facilities. LOL He started out great.... but now it seems he's lost interest.
I haven't been doing any type of rewards, however... other than clapping and shouting YAY!Last edited by hogama; Sun, Apr 15th, 2012 at 10:35 PM.

Oh yes, I know! DH has the same sort of sense of humor as your mom's dh .
I went back over this thread in case I missed something and I came across the camping discussion, particularly this post:
Absolutely, yes, crying babies attract certain predatory animals. This isn't meant to scare anyone but it's something everyone who's responsible for infants should know (including babysitters, in-home daycare workers, etc..). Crying babies (even loud cooing) sound like wounded prey. Please don't forget that dogs are also a predatory species, some with very high prey drives. I don't mean to preach, just want parents to be very cautious around dogs who aren't familiar with their children.~RRLF $0.75 Organic Meadow, $1 Almond Fresh~
