Got mine today! Has anyone with brown hair tried the lightening spray? I want to try it on my brown hair, but at the same time I dont want to wreck it! (it says on the bottle its not suitable for darker hair.)

I went searching for information online once I read that it has peroxide in it and everything I read said you can use peroxide lightening on brown hair but to try it on a less noticeable spot first.....or even on some of the hair that comes out after you shower/brush your hair etc etc......like a spot test to see how your hair will react. My hair is naturally strawberry blonde but I plan on spot testing first too.

Me too, & I wonder the same thing. I'm a brunette & I used Sun In waaaaay back when it 1st came out, it did lighten it a bit when I went out in the sun, so I may as well give this a try too on my vacation next month.

I vaguely remember winning one the these but I haven't received it yet. My fingers are crossed

edited to add: I just checked the mail and there it was LOL. I checked the ingredients of the spray and it is very similar to my Marc Anthony Easy Lites highlighting spray which can be used on all hair colours. You just spray each section you want highlighted then swipe the section 6 -8 times with a hot hair straightener. I bet this would work just the same.
