So sorry to hear!! They are SOOO personable it's hard when they go. Mine liked to eat off my plate, nap with me, shower, (lol), etc ..he was my little buddy....He was about 12 years old and got really sick and died within a week. Unfortunately, at the time I was visiting NFLD and in an isolated area where there was no vets, etc (he made about 8 summer trips to NFLD..LOL..driving) and from the symptoms I described to a vet over the phone they said maybe a stomach tumor..it was an awful experience! Mine looked just like yours!! Still miss him dearly..called him Spike! lol

p.s. LOVE your profile pic..I had a cockatiel for many+ years, he died 2 summers ago and I still miss him so much! he spent a lot of time in front of any mirror saying, "Pretty bird, hey pretty bird wat'cha doing?' LOL
