I had the same thing happen lately with Royalcoupons so I emailed them and this was the result of the query:

We contacted TELUS, and apparently the warning is a result of your e.Protect Antivirus Software. The text of the message is misleading – it simply indicates that you’re opening a page that transmits protected information. Here’s what TELUS told us:

“It appears that this error is caused by the TELUS e.protect antivirus protection software. TELUS Privacy Manager monitors the HTTP traffic and any proxy server port for sensitive and identifying protected information. When any protected data is about to be transmitted through web forms, email messages and instant messages, it will be detected and alert the user. This feature can be turned on and off in the Privacy management settings.”

We believe the protected data in this case is just the encrypted ID we assign to each subscriber so we can recognize them when on our site and award them points. Please adjust your Privacy Management Settings to avoid this warning in the future.
