Awesome! I did some stacking today too. Got 2 of the Gillette Fusion ProGlide razors & 1 pack of Venus simply razors & I had enough of a stack to get them aaalmost free, but when I came home I realized the cashier made a mistake & didn't take off my $5 WUB3 Gillette coupon. So sad.

The razors are on sale this week at Superstore which can be a great way to stack! I love the embrace disposables but $16 is WAY too much without stacking!!

go back & have them adjust the coupon............they should be able to see on your receipt that you didn't use that one.

a little tip....I always know, within pennies, what my expected total will be.......if things are hectic & there's lots going on, and my receipt is 'off' what I expect it to be.........I just sit on the bench outside the store & double-check for the discrepancies (sometimes I 'forget' that this time I didn't get absolutely everything for free & had to pay a buck or two somewhere. )

if they missed a coupon, I'm having it fixed just moments after my purchase - I won't go back after the fact & I'm too frugal to lose money that way.

Yeah I wasn't paying attention & I didn't check my receipt till I got home. But I handed over the coupon already... how does that work? You can't really tell from my receipt whether that coupon was used or not, because the whole stack was entered at once (ie. instead of entering $2 at a time, it was entered as $16).

I know I find it hard to read the reciept when they enter it as a bundle.

shoot, I guess all you can do is be extra-vigilant about coupons next time - write down the amount of each stack on a piece of paper beforehand, so you know the value of each stack if that's how they deduct them.

I think we have all had missed coupons at LD before. I am sure most of us have also benefitted from a mysterious coupon we didn't have. But I feel your pain. I lose sleep too when a coupon is missed. I think it is because we spend so much time putting the stacks together to get them for free. That it really feels like a loss when it doesn't work out.

I also know how much I will pay for each stack. That way I just look at the bottom of the screen and make sure it is always close to just the tax. I always put the items at the end when I actually owe money. That way I can keep track. Once at LD they had to re-do my stuff 3 times to get it right. Perserverance paid off and I got all my stuff that time for the right price.

    Great deals you got OP!!!

I've had to have a person at LD redo my purchases 3 times also... I loved seeing the look on her face after she had been nasty about re-doing my purchase, saying I don't have a clue about how to use coupons, then I tell her to call her manager... The manager comes over and puts all my stacks through right away and my purchase went from like $150 with the rude cashier, to just taxes with the manager !

Yes.. My biggest and only coupon loss (other than having one stolen), was with this cashier, she is really amazing, for some reason though she forgot $16 in coupons for my razors, so I payed full price and didn't have time to go back !

    Great brag!
In 2010/11 I used over $7700 in coupons!
My 2012 goal is $6000 in coupons!
