ok... mini-question for QUEBEC if anyone knows (if no one knows, entirely ok, i'll buy something else): I went to the SDM site to be sure i know all exceptions - i reallllly want to be TOTALLY sure that everything I buy is admissible: ok, in Quebec, NO medication (like aspirin) earns points, ok; they also specify points exclude any product sold exclusively in Pharmacies - would that imply VITAMINS?? (i'm trying to think: there are some at Walmart, but there is a pharmacy; there are some at Loblaws, but they also have a pharmacy - if someone knows... Or else i'll take eggs (we eat a LOT of eggs Happy shopping tomorrow, Wed and/or Thursday!!!!!!!! Cathy

I'm in Quebec and re: vitamins and other natural health supplements -- these products should have a NPN - a natural product number. In that case, it *should* earn points and qualify for this event. If it has a DIN - drug identification number -- it *should not* earn any points and so would not qualify for points or for this event.

If you have a friendly cashier, check with them in advance and ask them to scan the product to see if it is *pointable*. If there is an X next to the product, it is *non-pointable* and will not count toward your required $20 purchase (after coupons and before taxes).

If you can normally get base points for the product (if you have purchased before), then it should be fine. But if it were me, I would double-check it before my purchase and then check the receipt right after and before leaving the store.

And if you don't want to do any of that (which is understandable) then I agree with you to just play it safe

For the record, I buy a lot of Jamieson vitamins at Pharmaprix and I do get the points for them

From FAQ's - this is the same if someone in you group doesn't register or doesn't shop:

Q. If someone in my group doesn't spend over $20, how does that affect me?

A. If only 9 out of the 10 members of your group shops, then that means that SDM will only give the group leader 45,000 referral points. Split between 10 people, that's 4,500 points as opposed to 4,545.

Note that each group member who shops will also receive 5,000 points for their own purchase.

If the group leader doesn't shop, then NO ONE in the group receives their bonus referral points--this is why group leaders must shop and we take care in selecting them; members will receive their 5,000 points as long as they shop.

Ok everyone, start shopping!

For everyone worried about how many points you'll get, stop it. IF you shop (keep your receipt) there is a 99.9% chance you'll get 4545 points. I subsidize groups with non-shoppers or non enough members to make that happen. So just stop, please.

We do not need help from your family member, etc. to fill groups. There are still people waiting to do that. If one of my prospective group leaders registers, I'll create another group.

You can register for this event until it ends. If you're in a group, they won't wait for you that long, but registrations can still happen. Group leaders who need replacements need to email me. Wait until you've registered to shop.

I didn't get the group statuses updated as I planned last night because I accidentally closed my browser before I was done. I'll redo them as soon as I can. I have to get to class now, but maybe in my two-hour break.

I did that too, and the highlighted area in that confirmation email is what I clicked and it brought me to the page that had my SDM Optimum # saved and then I just had to put in my DOB, or maybe in your case it was your postal code ( whatever you used when you first registered.) Then click the register button and then a page comes up for you to enter the emails of 1,2 or 10 friends
If I have steered you wrong, someone else get on here quick and let me know
