Free Sony e-reader (deal expired)

Hi, the original post was deleted. This is the free e-reader for getting the Sony mastercard. Mine arrived last week - yeah me! I also received $62 in my paypal account from Great Canadian rebates. I just received a receipt in the mail for $124.30. Did others get this. I'm assuming that is for my records and not a bill. So now to find some things to upload. Where do you find free or cheap e-books other that the library?

Hi, I received my Sony e-reader about 2 weeks back and I too got the receipt in mail last week for the same amount as yours. I also have $ 62.00 dollars in my great Canadian Rebates account but have not asked them to send it to me just yet, but I guess I should.
is it possible to receive a cheque instead of getting the money in the paypal account, do you know if this option was there please let me know.

Recived my ereader about 2 weeks ago and quickly sold it on Kijiji for $130. Also received the $60 for signing up through the referral site, and just waiting to redeem the Sony points for the clock radio.

I received the e-reader about 2 weeks ago however I'm still awaiting the credit from . I emailed them and they said that I was not on the list that MBNA sent them. I would have to wait until the end of April to know if I'm on the new list that is sent mid month. Did anyone else have this issue?

hi, I did my 5 purchased but haven't receive the e-reader.
would you please let me know, after the 5 purchased, do I need to call or report someone for claim the e-reader? thanks

They will send the ereader automatically.

The receipt is for your records in case you need service because you need a receipt of some kind to get service.

I was wanting to use my point on the sony site. It seems that you have to use atleast 3000 to redeem. Anyone done it? Can you redeem for less? They have items that show it needs fewer points to redeem so that is confusing.

Yes, there's an option to receive by cheque. That's what I did. Cheques are sent once a month - on the 15th I think - and I think there's up to a 6-wk delay so they can verify with mbna or something like that. I put my request in last week and my cheque should be mailed May 15th.

Why 3000 pts? is that a rule? Fyi, tThere are are items for 2000, like SD memory cards.

i have problem with my ereader. when it goes to sleep mode you can't move back to normal mode. i pressed on button but nothing. you have to connect it to computer than you have to wait and then it will turn on again. why? anyone has same problem?

Your points are shown on your Sony MC statement they mail to you. You can redeem on the Sony store site. However, they recently posted about not being able to instantly redeem online until after April 30.

The same thing, I got my it in my mail yesterday and I am still pending for my ereader.

BTW, how can I sell it on the kijiji? I never did that before...

You must have a min of 3000 points to redeem when checking out. Otherwise it won't let you redeem them. You usually do not have to wait until April 30th to redeem on line. It is only because they are doing work on teh site.
